Ever wanted to learn how to cook like an authentic Jamaican Chef?  Well you may not graduate to chef status, but don’t miss this opportunity to learn some delicious kitchen skills from a Caribbean master.

Chef Scotty

Edward Scott a.ka. Scotty has been cooking for almost all his adult life. He is a trained mechanic and used to work fixing cars and other machinery.

He then got a job at the Halfmoon Hotel (Montego Bay), where he’d get his first “taste” of cooking professionally. Scotty started in the kitchen as a steward, but learned to cook different dishes by observing and helping the chefs. After 3 years at Halfmoon, Scotty moved on to the Sea Castle Hotel, where he was the breakfast cook. He only spent 1 year @ Sea Castle, then moved to the then Trelawny Beach Hotel, where he expanded his cooking skills.

Scotty has now been working at Endless Summer for the past 6 years. His favorite dish is curried goat and white rice.

Naturally, his favorite past-time is cooking:D. He has four children (3 boys and one girl..all adults), none of whom is following in their father’s footsteps.
